Adeline J. Wells is a writer based in Joshua Tree, California. Originally from Northern Wisconsin, my career has spanned the fields of service, political science, and law. Through every venture writing has remained my crux; it is a privilege to have this recognized professionally as my craft.
Now residing in the Mojave Desert, I find peace under violet hour skies with both film and pen in hand.
WORK
As a freelance writer, my work includes collaborations with small businesses as well as established companies in the fashion, skincare, and technology industries. Also an editor, I manage several writers who collaborate on producing a monthly newsletter for one such brand. From long-form pieces to text steeped with SEO and user-centered microcopy, I prioritize creating content that has impact.

My writing exists in balance between illustration and precision. Just as words hold power, so does their absence; drafting long-form pieces as well as copy allows me to invoke meaning with both. I am intentional about working with a diversity of clients, yet all of whom are driven by life enhancement in some form.
Creatively, my work finds its center on intention, beauty, and connection. I write about how everything I write about is connected; I write about the beauty in that.
While based in Southern California, I am willing to consult on projects elsewhere.
